A launch campaign for Cambridge Distillery’s Darwin Collection gin: stills, motion, edit and colour grade.
Botanicals from Darwin’s voyage, staged three ways. A miniature jungle, a minimalist study, and a nod to life aboard the Beagle.
(Concept)
The Darwin Collection retraces the Beagle’s route through South American botanicals, created with Cambridge University Botanic Garden. We told that story across three sets: the expedition’s jungle, the naturalist’s study, and the ship that carried them both.
(Production)
The jungle grew from moss, tropical leaves and ripe fruit. The study kept things minimal, the bottle and drifting smoke on warm monochrome. The naval set brought rope, stoneware and water refractions, light moving like sea against a hull.
