Motion and stills for Watenshi, the world’s most exclusive gin from Cambridge Distillery: distillery and studio shoot, edit and colour grade.
A minimal white set built around a single bottle. A frame as pure as the spirit within it.
(Concept)
Watenshi captures the angel’s share, the vapour normally lost to the air. The concept mirrored that purity: a clean white set with a round cut-out echoing the brand’s design.
(Production)
Part of the film was shot at the distillery, following the process up close. In the studio, we captured the bottle and its ingredients, with dry ice suggesting the extreme cold and near-vacuum pressure behind every drop.
