A launch campaign for Ominira, Equiano’s first vintage rum: set design, studio shoot, edit and colour grade.
Ominira means freedom in Yoruba. We built a sun-warmed set where every prop carries part of the story, then let the rum throw its own amber light.
(Concept)
Ominira is Equiano's vintage release, eleven years old and only a few thousand bottles made. It needed weight. Our set answered in kind: raw sugar cane, weathered barrel wood, and a butterfly at rest, all sitting in the warmth of a low sun.
(Production)
We worked under dappled light to keep the set alive, moving from wide hero frames to close passes over the label and seal. The signature shot let the sun burn through the rum into a deep amber shadow, with clean packshots closing the series.
